This Bridge was build by the closeby community Mörsdorf in order to develop a tourist attraction.
The Bridge was build in 2015 in only 130 days, and in only the first four weeks after the opening of the Bridge already 45.000 visitors came to look at the beautiful new bridge. Nowadays about 370.000 visitors are comming to see the bridge each year
Even more intresting is the fact that all of the maintaining costs are covered through the sunstainable wind energy the community is producing with wind millls in the region.

While travelling from place to place, we spent our nights in the roof tent on our Land Rover. The back of the car was perfect to prepare food and cook our delicious meals.
Of course we did not only capture the nature and the surrounging castles, fortresses and bridges.
We also captured the Land Rover in his natural habitat.
A little dirt on the wheels is necessary on a proper ofroader who digs through the undergrowth in the Forest.

A couple of our destinations we visited were the castle Eltz, Cochem castle, multiple stops in Palatinate Forest, a quick visit at the european parliament in Straßbourg and a drive through the Black Forest.
